Margarette B.Bendu: Admin and Human Resources Manager,

 

Margarette B.Bendu is the Administrative and Human Resources Manager, Right to Access Information Commission stationed at the National Secretariat. She is a Human Resource Expert, an Educationist, a Children and Women Advocate and campaigner with skills in Development and Research.

Worked in several Academic Institutions as well as and non - Academic Institutions with a vast knowledge and expertise in Human Resources Management, including administrative Duties.

 Worked as Human Resources and Administrative officer at ESSCON Consultancy and services Ltd. SL

Worked as Human Resource Manager/Training Consultant at St. George Foundation SL. 

A versatile personality: with qualification and experience in Program/Project Implementation and management thus:

Worked as Education Project Officer:  at Save the Children Sierra Leone. Key responsibilities were to mobilize and engage communities to establish and strengthen community structures and school clubs who will carry out their own problem analysis and propose solutions and take sustainable measures.

Developed training materials, handouts and other tools to deliver training for teachers, SMCs, Area Development Committees ADCs and school communities.

Identify key members of the communities to be part of the Education improvement Committee, ensuring that membership reflects gender parity.

Ensure that project activities are in line with project design, implementation and spending plan and carry out periodic review of the Award Action Plan AAP

EDUCATION

Margarette holds a Master of Science (MSc.) Degree in Development Studies and Environmental Sciences Njala University.

 She holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) Degree in Human Resources Management.

 A Higher National Diploma HND in Child safeguarding/ Safety and Protection at Brikama Institute Banjul the Gambia

A Higher Teacher’s Certificate HTC in Secondary Education, Milton Margai College of Education and Technology.
